Joe Pires

Joe Pires is a businessman who is very innovative and tactical in his everyday business life. As Chairman and/or Managing Director of many companies Joe is multifaceted, versatile and always brainstorming new and creative business ideas. He is the Managing Director of Caribbean Chemicals and Agencies Limited (CCAL), one of the premier regional suppliers of agricultural and industrial chemicals, as well as the chairman of Bowen Boats Limited, Red Cellular Limited and over 30 other businesses. Mr. Pires has served on many boards across varied industries in Trinidad and Tobago including restaurants, alcohol distribution, farming, mobile technology, shipping and manufacturing. He has also served on the Board of the third largest Bank in Trinidad and Tobago, First Citizens Bank as well as a past Vice President of the Junior Achievement Trinidad & Tobago and The Trinidad and Tobago Chamber of Industry and Commerce. He is also quite philanthropic and socially responsible and involved in many other charitable activities.

Graham Dunkley

Graham Dunkley as a child saw his father create an agricultural business to generate income, employment, creating wealth and a healthy sense of self worth. This instilled a drive in him to undertake a career in agriculture with the overarching common purpose to grow the Jamaican economy.

He has experience in reviving underperforming businesses and taking already performing businesses to a higher level. He believes in the saying “no one person can do it alone” and surrounds himself with people of talent while continuing to educate himself on emerging trends in modern management.

He received his education at the University of the West Indies (Mona) with a Bachelor’s in Economics and Management. He is an avid reader, dog lover and enjoys the interactions with the Farmers in the field, where all of life’s lessons unfold.

Kurt Hollingsworth

Kurt joined the Caribbean Chemicals (Jamaica) team in 2015, assuming responsibility for all support services for the company, specifically Finance and Accounting, Logistics, Human Resources and Information Technology.

After graduating from the University of the West Indies with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Kurt worked with various departments and subsidiaries within the Grace Kennedy Group, garnering experience in finance and accounting, pension and investment funds management and administration, and IT project management, and has since worked in those fields at a senior level in other large and small organisations for over 20 years.

Kurt is driven by his desire to have customers’ expectations exceeded, and enjoys working with teams to achieve organisational objectives. A social being, he spends his spare time in vibrant domino and card games with friends, watching movies and great football, and exploring the beauty of Jamaica’s nooks and crannies.

Oneil Samuels

Joined Caribbean Chemicals (Jamaica) Limited in July 2015 as Plant Manager with specific responsibility for the company’s proprietary formulations. Oneil has over fifteen (15) years’ experience in formulating pesticides for the regional Agricultural Industry and played a critical role in formulating the award winning Tropi-Gro Insect Powder insecticide.

Oneil Samuels currently holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Chemistry and Applied Chemistry (Hons.) from the University of the West Indies, Post-Graduate Certificate in Pesticide Analysis from the Havana Pesticide Laboratory (Cuba) and is also a certified Occupational Health and Safety Specialist. Oneil has a MBA (Distinction) with focus on International Business Management.

Zabdy Smith

Zabdy Smith is currently serving as Sales Manager at Caribbean Chemicals (Jamaica) Ltd. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agri Business & Management from the University of the West Indies and an Associate of Science Degree from the College of Agriculture Science and Education (CASE).

Zabdy joined the Ag Chem Team in 2015 and has a wealth of experience. She possesses over 20 years experience in various positions in the field of Agriculture. These positions include Warehouse Supervisor, Outlet Manager, Assistant Sales Manager, Sales Representative and Customer Service Coordinator.

Zabdy describes herself as being a very assertive person, full of passion, operates with integrity and her motivation comes from within. Her happiest moments are when she is cooking and entertaining family and friends. In her down time Zabdy enjoys reading, gardening and baking.

Georgia Robinson

Georgia Robinson hails from the farming community of Kellits, Clarendon where her passion for agriculture developed, coupled with her high school experience. Georgia has been with Caribbean Chemicals Jamaica since inception, July 2015 and has been serving as Assistant Sales Manager (with responsibility for Marketing) since October 2019. She has served in the agricultural sector for over twenty (20) years.

Georgia holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) Hons. – with a major in Marketing and a minor in International Business from the University of Technology, Jamaica, an Associate of Science Degree in Agricultural Education and a Diploma in Secondary Education from the College of Agriculture Science & Education (CASE). In an effort to continuously improve herself, she completed short courses in Customer Service Management, Key Account Training, Pest Identification Management and Digital Marketing.

In her spare time, Georgia spends a lot of time with her family, travelling and enjoying the countryside.

She is a people person, very passionate in both Agriculture and Marketing and believes that she should treat people how she wants to be treated. Her mantra is to continue to strive for excellence.
